TheInternationalConferenceonInformationScienceandTechnology(ICIST2011)willbeheldinNanjing,Jiangsu,ChinaduringMarch26-28,2011.NanjingwasanoldcapitalofChinaforsixdynastieswith2470-yearhistoryandrichculturalheritage.Sheisnowamodernmetropolisfeaturingnumeroushistoricandscenerysites.Therecentlyopenedhigh-speedtrainscanreachNanjingfromShanghaiinanhouratthespeedofashighas350KM/hour.
ICIST2011aimstoprovideahigh-levelinternationalforumforscientists,engineers,andeducatorstopresentthestateoftheartofresearchandapplicationsofinformationscienceandtechnology.Theconferencewillfeatureplenaryspeechesgivenbyworldrenownedscholars,regularsessionswithbroadcoverage,andspecialsessionsfocusingonpopulartopics.TheproceedingsofICIST2011willbepublishedbytheIEEEwithEIindexing.Inaddition,selectedhigh-qualitypaperswillbepublishedinspecialissuesofSCI-journals.

Prospectiveauthorsareinvitedtocontributehigh-qualitypaperstoICIST2010.Inaddition,proposalsforspecialsessionswithinthetechnicalscopesoftheconferencearesolicited.Specialsessions,tobeorganizedbyinternationallyrecognizedexperts,aimtobringtogetherresearchersinspecialfocusedtopics.Paperssubmittedforspecialsessionsaretobepeer-reviewedwiththesamecriteriausedforthecontributedpapers.ResearchersinterestedinorganizingspecialsessionsareinvitedtosubmitformalproposalstoICIST2010.Aspecialsessionproposalshouldincludethesessiontitle,abriefdescriptionofthescopeandmotivation,names,contactinformationandbriefbiographicalinformationontheorganizers.
